Current scenario
The exponential increase in confirmed cases of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) since the third week of April, has positioned Peru as the second country with more confirmed cases in Latin America and fifth worldwide.
On March 15th, the Government of the Peru declared a state of emergency and mandatory social isolation that would apply nationwide from 00:00 hours on March 16th for 15 days.
Tourism sector has been one of the most affected by the new coronavirus, impacting nearly 300 thousand direct jobs and 500 thousand indirect jobs just in this sector, which in economic terms means 2 million dollars in losses nationwide.
Tourism in Peru is the most third most important foreign currency generating activity, reaching total revenue close to 5 billion dollars annually and many people live from it, not only travel agencies, major hotel chains or airlines, but also taxi drivers, waiters, artisans or tour guides; and with hotels, museums, restaurants and tourist attractions closed, this sector is suffering a historical economic loss.
Concept
No it's not a smart bracelet
